Watch our final episode on Taste of London

First Filipino parlour at Taste of London

During the 19th of June to the 23rd of June 2019, Mamasons was very honoured to serve you guys and the public at Taste of London. Being the first Filipino ice cream parlour ever to be invited, we were so proud to introduce and represent the Philippines and our range of desserts on such a scale.

Though the days were long and the queues longer, we’re thankful to all those who showed us generous interest that day and for waiting patiently. Just a little taste of our bubble, giving you guys a flavour of the Philippines with our customised sari-sari store front, our entertainment and most importantly, our desserts.

Watch our video on how we set up our Sari Sari store at Taste of London.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t bring our entire menu with us but we’re ecstatic that our most signature desserts, being our ice cream scoops, halo halo and bilogs, were well received by everyone. And to name, renowned chef, Yotam Ottolenghi and Ravneet Gill, founder of Countertalks, who were amongst the masses that made a quick visit to our tent.

A special thanks to our bakers, aunty, Henry, kuya Edwin, our Mamasons gang and to everyone else who made our first experience at Taste of London just as memorable for us as it was for everyone who came and popped in. And also, thank you to the team behind Taste of London for inviting us in celebration of the cultural diversity of the food scene in London.

If you guys enjoy our desserts and can’t wait to have more, our Kentish Town and Chinatown branches are open 7 days a week to cheekily please your guilty pleasures.
